Marketing components help you use Shopify notification emails to encourage repeat purchases, promote products, and give customers useful links back to your store. The components available in your builder may vary depending on your template type and enabled features.
Product Recommendations
The Product Recommendations component can show additional products inside your notification emails. This is useful for cross-selling related products or bringing customers back to shop again after an order.
Recommendations depend on your product data and recommendation settings, so the builder preview may not always show exactly what a customer will see in a live email.
Featured Product
The Featured Product component lets you highlight a specific product in your email. This is a good option for new arrivals, best sellers, seasonal products, or items you want to promote consistently.
Discounts
The Discounts component lets you add an incentive for customers to return and purchase again. Depending on your setup, this can include percentage discounts, fixed amount discounts, or free shipping offers.
When you update a discount amount, expiration, or offer type, make sure the text around the component matches the discount settings. For example, if the component is set to 10% off, the surrounding copy should not say $10 off.
Social
The Social component can link customers to your brand's social profiles. This is usually best near the footer or in a section where customers expect brand links.
Code and Conditional components
For more advanced layouts, the Code and Conditional components can be used to add custom HTML/Liquid or show content only when certain conditions are met. These are best used when you need more control than a standard component provides.
