UpOrder supports Tracktor Order Tracking through the Tracktor component. When the integration is enabled, you can add a Tracktor tracking button to supported notification templates without manually editing the template code.

The Tracktor component uses a Tracktor tracking link, so customers who click the button are sent to your store's Tracktor tracking page instead of Shopify's default order status page.

Before you start

How to add the Tracktor component

  1. Open the template set you want to edit in UpOrder.

  2. Open the notification template where you want the Tracktor tracking button to appear. This is usually a shipping or order-related notification.

  3. Click Add section in the left sidebar.

  4. Select the Tracktor component.

  5. Place the component where you want the tracking button to appear in the email.

  6. Click the Tracktor component in the email preview to review its settings.

  7. Save your changes.

Tracktor component settings

By default, the component includes a Tracktor button link and uses your template's button styling. You can review or adjust the button text, link, size, color, spacing, and alignment from the component settings panel.

If you use Use Template Settings, the component follows the button styling from your template settings. If you turn that off, you can customize the Tracktor button styling directly on the component.

Testing the link

Tracktor links rely on order information, so preview emails may not always behave the same as a real customer notification. After saving, test with an order-based notification where possible, and make sure Tracktor is already working in your Shopify store.

You will need to publish your updated templates to Shopify before these changes are reflected in your live notification emails.
