You can automate the process with UpOrder's Chrome Extension and set all of the email templates you select live with just one click!
β
If you use Google Chrome as your browser, we highly recommend trying out the Chrome Extension because it will save you time. You can get it here in the Chrome Web Store. Please note that the UpOrder Chrome Extension will only work on stores with English as their store language.
(Don't use Google Chrome as your browser? Not to worry! You can manually copy & paste each template from UpOrder's export page to Shopify's admin, see this article.)
β
Once you have the Chrome extension installed, login to the UpOrder app, and when you are happy with the design of your email templates and ready to set them live, click the "Save" button (if you did not make any changes, you may see "Publish" instead):
You will then see a pop-up message that says "Continue editing" or "Publish", click on the "Publish" button:
This will take you to the 'Publish to Shopify' page:
From here, open up the Chrome extension and click the "Set Selected Email Templates Live" button and it will set any of the 27 email templates you select live in one click. Just make sure you are also logged into your Shopify admin at the same time.
TIP: In order for this to work smoothly, we recommend not having too many tabs open in your Google Chrome window. Make sure you are logged into the UpOrder app on the 'Publish to Shopify' page, as well as your Shopify admin. If you have multiple Shopify stores, make sure you are only logged into the store you want to export the email templates too.
β
For this extension to work, your default Shopify notifications must be set to send as HTML and not Plain Text. You can configure this in your Shopify admin by going to Settings > Notifications.
