Why should you add Instagram & UGC galleries to your UpOrder emails?

Integrate dynamic (or static) shoppable Instagram and UGC content into your transactional emails to add more opportunities for your customers to shop and engage with your brand on Instagram. Highlighting your products on Instagram in your emails adds social proof, which can help convert a recent shopper who abandoned a checkout, or inspire a repeat purchase for another product they were thinking about.

This is why we recommend adding Instagram & UGC galleries to the following emails:

  • Abandoned Checkout

  • Order Confirmation

  • Shipping Confirmation

Step-by-step guide:

Here is a step-by-step guide for adding dynamic FourSixty galleries to your UpOrder emails.

Step 1:
Open your Foursixty app. Click Email in the FourSixty navigation bar.

Then, select the Create a dynamic gallery checkbox.

Step 2:
Decide if you would like to make the dynamic gallery shoppable or not.

Step 3:

Name your campaign (you must create a campaign name or the necessary code will not be generated).

Step 4:

Click Select Layout and proceed to select your theme image spacing.

Step 5:

Once you are happy with the look, click Filter Content.

In this step, you can choose the content source(s) you want to populate your galleries. Some brands only want to show content from their IG account, while other brands want to show both their content and approved UGC. It's completely up to you.

Further, you can even choose to only use content that you've assigned specific categories to.

Step 5:

Once you have selected your content sources, click Generate Code followed by Finalize Campaign.

Then, once the code is displayed, click Copy so that it copies to your clipboard.

Step 6:

Once you have copied the code to your clipboard, go back to your UpOrder account. Create or select the Shopify notification email you want to add the dynamic galleries to.

Then drag a Custom Code component from the right to where you want the dynamic gallery to be.

Delete the placeholder code (<div>Some example code</div>), and paste the HTML codes you just copied from FourSixty. You can preview the gallery after you pasted the codes.

Step 7

Review your email. Once satisfied, click the "Set Live" button on the top left to set your email live in Shopify.

Lastly, to make these changes effective, make sure you set the email templates live into Shopify again!

Congratulations! Now you've successfully set up your Foursixty integration in Spently!
