Yes. UpOrder automatically adds UTM parameters to tracked links in your notification emails where possible. You do not need to add standard UTM tags manually for normal UpOrder email links.
These parameters help tools such as Google Analytics and Shopify reporting understand that the visit came from a notification email. Shopify also supports campaign and reporting workflows that use UTM parameters such as utm_campaign, utm_source, and utm_medium.
Can I change the UTM values?
Not from the UpOrder builder. UpOrder uses fixed UTM values for its notification email click tracking, and those values are not currently configurable in-app.
You may still see spently in the UTM source and campaign values. This is expected. These values come from the original tracking system and are kept for reporting continuity.
Current UTM values
For the notification types below, UpOrder appends these values after a customer clicks a tracked link:

How to test the final link
Send yourself a real test email or place a test order that triggers the notification.
Click the link from the delivered email.
Check the final page URL after the redirect completes.
Confirm that the final URL includes
utm_campaign,utm_medium, andutm_source.
The builder preview may not show the final redirected URL. Testing from the delivered email is the most reliable way to confirm the UTM values.
Important notes
UpOrder appends UTM parameters to links that go through UpOrder click tracking.
If a destination URL already includes UTM parameters, UpOrder may still append its own UTM parameters after the click redirect. Test carefully before relying on manually added UTM values.
Sufio invoice links are an exception and are redirected without UpOrder UTM parameters.
Some newer or less common notification types might not have a named UTM campaign value yet. UpOrder can still track email performance internally, but the external UTM campaign value may not be as descriptive for those templates.
